Dependence (2/2)

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right.
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up.
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!”
Give us this day our daily bread.Give us today the food we need.
That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
