Dependence (2/2)

For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation. Selah.Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right.
But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh. Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up.
Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah.Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.
Then Job arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be Yahweh’s name.”Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!”
Give us today our daily bread.Give us today the food we need.
That I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.
But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.
Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me.But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me.
For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness.You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
I spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
