I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you. - O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ - He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength. - Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. - The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.
