I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you. - Lord, You are my God;
I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name;
For You have worked wonders,
Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. - For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ - He gives strength to the weary,
And to the one who lacks might He increases power. - Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - Since you are precious in My sight,
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life. - Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.
