- Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose trust is the Lord.
For he will be like a tree planted by the water
That extends its roots by a stream,
And does not fear when the heat comes;
But its leaves will be green,
And it will not be anxious in a year of drought,
Nor cease to yield fruit. - Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
- And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?
- Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise. - Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.
- The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
To give to each person according to his ways,
According to the results of his deeds. - “Can a person hide himself in hiding places
So that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.
