- After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
- As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

- Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in the flesh,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory. - My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.
- Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
- I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.

- But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
