- Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! - But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

- We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
- You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
- Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
- Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.
- Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain! - The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless,
but destruction to evildoers. - But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
- Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- And I shall walk in a wide place,
for I have sought your precepts. - You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
