- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

- Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.

and not to selfish gain! - You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.

- There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
- The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless,
but destruction to evildoers. - And I shall walk in a wide place,
for I have sought your precepts. - You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
- But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.
- Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever!
- Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord! - The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and remembrance
are the desire of our soul.
