- Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
- For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

nothing can make them stumble. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
- Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
- You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
- You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
- The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
- Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! - The wise of heart will receive commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to ruin. - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
