Law (2/5)

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe.
If you love Me, keep My commandments. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
Judge not, that you be not judged.Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and every other commandment are all summed up in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone. He proclaimed his covenant to you which he ordered you to fulfill, the Ten Commandments, that he wrote upon two tablets of stone.
You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves.
Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks.
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.
We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.
The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes more than I would rejoice in endless riches.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does.
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.
I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.Never will I forget your commands, for through them you have given me life.

And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
