Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Nearness
- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit. - Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
- Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
- One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. - You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked. - May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.
- But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
- Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
