Chinese (traditional)- Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
- Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were. - And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
- And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
- And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. - As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,
Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them. - Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
- When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
Even his prayer is an abomination.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
