Proverbs 10

A wise son makes a father glad,
But a foolish son is a grief to his mother.
Proverbs 10:1 joy family wisdom
Ill-gotten gains do not benefit,
But righteousness rescues from death.
Proverbs 10:2 honesty money righteousness

Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
Proverbs 10:6 righteousness speaking blessing
The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing,
But the name of the wicked will rot.
Proverbs 10:7 sin righteousness blessing
The wise of heart will receive commands,
But a babbling fool will come to ruin.
Proverbs 10:8 law wisdom heart
One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out.
Proverbs 10:9 sin safety life
Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all offenses.
Proverbs 10:12 love anger evil
One who is on the path of life follows instruction,
But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray.
Proverbs 10:17 obedience life listening
One who conceals hatred has lying lips,
And one who spreads slander is a fool.
Proverbs 10:18 speaking gossip lying
When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable,
But one who restrains his lips is wise.
Proverbs 10:19 sin speaking
The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver,
The heart of the wicked is worth little.
Proverbs 10:20 valuable righteousness speaking
It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it.
Proverbs 10:22 money blessing dependence
The hope of the righteous is gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked perishes.
Proverbs 10:28 righteousness hope patience
The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
But ruin to the workers of injustice.
Proverbs 10:29 sin reliability law
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.
