- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Next verse!With image
