- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever. - He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. - God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. - Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches—
Feed me with the food allotted to me. - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. - This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
- Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. - Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - A faithful witness does not lie,
But a false witness will utter lies. - May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
