- The tongue of the just man is like pure silver;
the heart of the wicked is without worth. - I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.
- If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.
- Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.
- He reserves his wisdom for the upright
and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives. - Let those who are wise understand these words,

For straight are the ways of the Lord;

- I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom
and led you along the paths of righteousness. - The righteous is remembered with blessings,
but the name of the wicked fades away. - The hope of the righteous brings them joy,
but the expectations of the wicked are frustrated. - As we proceed in the path of your judgments,
we wait for you, O Lord;
your name and your renown
are all that our heart desires. - The proud man’s heart is not upright,
but the righteous man will live
because of his faith. - He is a rock, his deeds are perfect,
and all of his ways are just.
He is a God of truth who does no wrong;
he is just and upright. - I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Now waiting for me is the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day—and not only to me, but to all those who have eagerly longed for his appearance.
- Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness.
- For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- Truly, you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you surround them with your goodwill as with a shield. - For he guards the paths of justice
and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones. - Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze on what lies before you. - The one who provides seed for sowing and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
- I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!
- If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
