- Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation.
- Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall never be shaken. - He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
