So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! | Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. |

Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. | Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. |
The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. | But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. |
Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” | Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. |
For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. | For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other. | Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. |
Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. | Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. |
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends. | But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. |
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. | The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. |
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. | For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. |
Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. | While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. |
