| They will never again be hungry or thirsty; they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun. For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. | I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. | Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard? |

| Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever!
