- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
- Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
- Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. - But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

- Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
