| My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God? | My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? |
| But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |

| See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone's work. | And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. |

| God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.” | And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. |
| Give heed to my reproof; I will pour out my thoughts to you; I will make my words known to you. | Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. |
| All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.” | Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. |
| The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, all that he has is in your power; only do not stretch out your hand against him!” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. | And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. |
| Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? | What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? |
| Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. | Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. |
| I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
