Chinese (traditional)- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. - It is to one’s honor to avoid strife,
but every fool is quick to quarrel. - The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
- But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream! - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
- Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil,
but those who promote peace have joy. - Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues. - All day long he craves for more,
but the righteous give without sparing. - Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life,
but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. - Houses and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips. - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- The lips of the righteous know what finds favor,
but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
- Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. - Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Next verse! With image
