- For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
- For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
- He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
- Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
- All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
- Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in the flesh,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory. - “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
- For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
- The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
- Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips. - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. - He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
