- Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.

a prayer to the God of my life. - Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
- No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
