- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him. - In God, whose word I praise,

who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers. - Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- I have taught you the way of wisdom;
I have led you in the paths of uprightness. - For a thousand years in your sight
are like yesterday when it is past,
or like a watch in the night. - Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
- Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
