  • Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
  • For there is not a just man on earth who does good
    And does not sin.
  • A merry heart does good, like medicine,
    But a broken spirit dries the bones.

  • But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

  • Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.

    Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
  • He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
  • The wicked man does deceptive work,
    But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.
  • Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
  • As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him;
    He is excellent in power,
    In judgment and abundant justice;
    He does not oppress.
  • Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
  • For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?
  • For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

  • If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
  • He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
