Chinese (traditional)- Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
- And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
- Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
- And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
- For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
- And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
- Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
- Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.
- Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
- There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.Next verse! With image
