- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
