- To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

- Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,
a pot among earthen pots!
Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
or ‘Your work has no handles’? - He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. - The hand of the diligent will rule,
while the slothful will be put to forced labor. - And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. - And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
