- How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house.
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. - O Lord, all my longing is before you;

- Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit,
but righteousness delivers from death. - From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
- The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- He who finds a wife finds a good thing
and obtains favor from the Lord. - For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
- I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
- Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
