He must seek peace and pursue it.” - When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
For my hope is from Him. - I sought the Lord and He answered me,
And rescued me from all my fears. - Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. - Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

- Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - For one who finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath,
But righteousness rescues from death. - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
- I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.
- The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever. - As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding!
Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. - Ill-gotten gains do not benefit,
But righteousness rescues from death. - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.
- You, Lord, rule forever;
Your throne is from generation to generation. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in your power to do it. - Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. - The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To eliminate the memory of them from the earth. - From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
- Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.
- And My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
- I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
- This also comes from the Lord of armies,
Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. - And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble;
