- Before the mountains were brought forth
or the earth and the world came into existence,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - The one who sows in his flesh will reap a harvest of corruption, but the one who sows in the Spirit will reap from the Spirit the reward of eternal life.
- If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Who has summoned the nations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, am the first,
and I will be there with the last. - All you need to do is to say ‘Yes’ if you mean ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ if you mean ‘No.’ Anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- Until a spirit from on high
is poured out upon us,
and the wilderness becomes an orchard
and the fruitful field becomes a forest. - The Lord God said, “Behold, man has become like one of us, for he has knowledge of that which is good and that which is evil. Now, we must prevent him from reaching out and taking the fruit of the tree of life lest he eat it and live forever.” The Lord God cast him out of the Garden of Eden; henceforth he was to labor tilling the soil from which he had come.

- The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

- However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

- Everyone who sins comes from the devil,
for the devil has been a sinner
from the very beginning.
The Son of God appeared for this very purpose:
to destroy the work of the devil. - He is the head of the body,
that is, the Church.
He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead,
so that in every way
he should be supreme. - Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb,
so shall he depart, naked as he came,
with nothing remaining from his labor
that he can carry away in his hands. - For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- This is the message
that we have heard from him
and that we declare to you:
God is light,
and there is no darkness at all in him. - We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
- However, if we live in the light
as he himself is in the light,
then we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son
purifies us from all sin. - When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened.
- Guard your heart with all possible vigilance,
for from it flow the wellsprings of life. - You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.
- Salvation comes from the Lord.
May your blessing be upon your people. Selah - Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil.
- For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast.
