- All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord. - Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them. - For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
- My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act. - You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.
- Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
- From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to blot out their name from the earth. - And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
- The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
- Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord.You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
