How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your possessions, acquire understanding.Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.
A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward.The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.
I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding.
One who gets wisdom loves his own soul; One who keeps understanding will find good.He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.
Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Do not turn to the right or to the left; Turn your foot from evil.Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.

Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
