- May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace! - May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.
- You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper,
and happy are those who trust in the Lord. - Keep his statutes and his commandments, which I am commanding you today for your own well-being and that of your descendants after you, so that you may long remain in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
- As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs.
- The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
- Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who announces peace,
who brings good news,
who announces salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” - Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back because I have compassion on them,
and they shall be as though I had not rejected them;
for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them. - God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.
