Chinese (traditional)- If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
- No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.
- The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.
- So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.But surely, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.Next verse!With image
