- Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you.
- Sing to God, sing praise to his name;
exalt him who rides upon the clouds.
Rejoice in the presence of this God
whose name is the Lord.
The Father of orphans and the defender of widows:
such is God in his holy dwelling place. - What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- And this is the testimony:
God gave us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son. - The Lord God made clothing for the man and woman out of animal skins and he clothed them.

God sent his only-begotten Son into the world
so that we might have life through him. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God. - You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble.
- How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may worship the living God.
- I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have life. - Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
- This is the commandment
we have received from him:
whoever loves God
must also love his brother. - And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Even should my heart and my flesh fail,
God is the rock of my heart
and my portion forever. - While Peter was thus imprisoned, the Church prayed fervently to God for him.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
