Chinese (traditional)- Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
- But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
- Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him. - To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
- Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. - For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver. - Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. - There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
- May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. - Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water. - Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.
- You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.Next verse!With image
