Thereupon the Lord restored the prosperity of Job after he had prayed for his friends, and he enriched him with twice as much as he had possessed before.And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened.And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God.So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
God blessed the seventh day and he consecrated it, for on it he rested from all the work he had done when he created all things.And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
I refrained from eating any choice food, abstaining from consuming meat or wine, and I did not anoint myself until those three weeks had passed.I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Because I delivered the poor who appealed for help and the orphan who had no one to protect him. When they had finished their prayer, the place where they were gathered together shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the word of God fearlessly.And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him.If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back because I have taken pity on them, and they will be as though I had never cast them off; for I am the Lord, their God, and I will answer them.And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.
God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God.And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
Then, after completing their fasting and prayer, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
Meanwhile, the Church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, building up strength and living in the fear of the Lord. Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, the Church grew in numbers.Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
All this took place in order to fulfill what the Lord had announced through the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and give birth to a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” a name that means “God is with us.”Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud of heart and quickly forgot me.According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
Before the mountains were brought forth or the earth and the world came into existence, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
