And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
