- He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
- And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
- The Lord is good and upright;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way. - When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.

- The Almighty—we cannot find Him;
He is exalted in power
And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness. - If someone says, “I love God,” and yet he hates his brother or sister, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
- You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
- So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever.
- Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent. - Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
- The Lord watches over strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked. - Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
- He sent His word and healed them,
And saved them from their destruction. - I love the Lord, because He hears
My voice and my pleas.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
