Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Hid'
- Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
- Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. - He that hideth hatred with lying lips,
and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. - Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. - I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
- No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
- A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
- But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
- Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.Next verse!With image
