Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. Psalm 28:7	Yahweh is my strength and my shield. Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5	Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. truth Word of God protection
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. 1 John 4:13	By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. God Spirit nearness
But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. Psalm 33:18	Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness. reliability God awe
Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure. purification family heaven
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7	Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. protection goodness safety

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. Psalm 103:13	Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. love fear Father

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.
