- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
- For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - A wise son maketh a glad father:
but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. - If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
- In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
