  • The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord
    Are riches, honor, and life.
  • Before destruction the heart of a person is haughty,
    But humility goes before honor.
  • The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom,
    And before honor comes humility.
  • With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
  • So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
