- Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
- And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
- I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling.Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
