I can do all (4/4)

  • Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
  • In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
  • Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest.
  • I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?
  • Great is the Lord and worthy of the highest praise;
    no one can even begin to comprehend his greatness.
  • And let us consider how to spur one another to love and good works. Do not neglect to attend your assemblies, as some do, but rather encourage one another, especially since you can see the Day approaching.
  • May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
  • Whatever you ask in my name I will do,
    so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
  • It is honorable to avoid strife,
    but every fool is quarrelsome.
  • Above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth, or use any oaths at all. Let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No.” Otherwise you may be condemned.
  • I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.
  • But what I tell you is this: Do not swear at all, either by heaven, since it is God’s throne, or by earth, since that is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, since that is the city of the great King.
  • In my anguish I cried out;
    the Lord heard my plea,
    and I was saved from all my troubles.
  • Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
  • Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares about you.
  • Hatred stirs up strife,
    but love overlooks all offenses.
  • Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
    for you are God, my Savior,
    and in you I hope all the day long.
  • No one can have greater love
    than to lay down his life for his friends.
  • Just as you do not know the path of the wind
    or how the body is formed in a woman’s womb,
    so you do not know the work of God,
    the Creator of all.
  • The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil,
    to erase all memory of them from the earth.
  • For the entire Law can be summed up in a single commandment: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • Peace I leave with you,
    my peace I give to you.
    Not as the world gives
    do I give it to you.
    Do not let your hearts be troubled;
    be not afraid.
  • Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar,
    praise and exalt and glorify
    the King of heaven.
    For all of his works are right,
    and all of his ways are just.
    Also, he is able to humble
    all those who follow the path of pride.
  • For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.

Bible verse of the day

He said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
