- I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
- I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot has held fast to His steps;
I have kept His way and not turned aside. - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

- Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!
- I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!” - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? - I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. - I made haste, and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. - Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
- I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
- One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple. - I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
