- Do not be deceived:
“Bad company ruins good morals.” - Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
- Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
- Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. - Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
- If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
- If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- The saying is sure:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him. - What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
- For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
- And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
- If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- For if you truly amend your ways and your doings, if you truly act justly one with another, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own hurt, then I will dwell with you in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your ancestors forever and ever.
- Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray. - By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out.
