- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- It is a faithful saying:
For if we be dead with him,
we shall also live with him. - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
- Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
- Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Next verse!With image
