and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- O Lord, grant us salvation.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

who has blessed us in Christ

- May the God of peace—who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant— make you perfect in every respect so that you may do his will. And may he enable us to achieve what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God.
